- Survey. Before starting the project we schedule our surveyor to do a detail survey. This survey is done to check the property the sign is going to be placed on, the dimension that it will have, the lighting that it will require, etc. Here are some aspects we take into account when making a Site Survey: Is the structural support available for the sign appropriate?
Is the location convenient? Will there be other signs close to yours? Will your sign be noticeable there? Which are the required permits for the type of sign and the location?
For lit signs, we will make sure there is an electrical outlet/energy box available. If not, we will present you with an installation project.
- Permitting: Big jobs require a lot of coordination. Coming up with the design and the construction of the sign is only a small part of the process. You need someone experienced like Southwest Group & Facility Services sign installation and permitting experts to manage all facets of the project, including obtaining the proper permits and installing your sign in the right way. We will work with your local zoning and sign permitting commission and anywhere else your business may be to make sure your sign gets a permit and is in full compliance.
- Inspections: We will schedule the necessary inspections and coordinate with the city a long each step of the way to make sure that each step is up to code and your signs will pass inspections!
